We love this game but from the first second we played the game, the bat started leaking air. The game comes with a patch, but it is leaking from the seam where you cannot patch. Now, we have to reinflate the bat every other turn and it's really annoying. Of course you can play without a bat, but the bat really adds to the fun of the game. I wish there was a way to get a replacement bat, because then I would change this review to 5 stars.

I have played this game many times with my brother’s family since the pandemic and have always enjoyed how hilarious fun and easy it is to play! We have really enjoyed the use of Grok’s Love Sad poetry cards where we insert some of the words we have won into empty spots in several different preformed Neanderthal poems.
This year I was gifted my very own box but was disappointed to find the poetry cards were missing. I really liked how those made the “Poetry for Neanderthals” game play out the poetry part of it.
I would still recommend this game, but am personally missing the Grok cards. ::In gravelly and grunt Neanderthal voice:: “Sad Time”.

I bought this for the kids for Christmas- love the easy of set up and simple rules. We had good laughs but had to swap to a pool noodle during the first round. I did not expect the bat to last forever but this was the part my kids were really looking forward to get their hands on. The pool noodle actually kind of hurt so we‘ll have to look into getting something inflatable to replace the original piece. Again awesome game otherwise but bummed we weren’t able to play like intended.
