THE TANK

Each player gets 4 cards facing up. The collection of cards in front of them is called their Tank. Stack any colors that are matching.

STEAL OR SCORE

Before you draw a card and see what color it is, decide if you want to Steal or Score.

STEAL

Stealing only allows you to take another player’s pile that you pick. If you pull a color that matches one in the player's Tank, steal it and place it into your Tank.

SCORE

Choose to score to gain cards in your Score Pile, but only if you draw a color that matches one in your Tank. 

TIP

The colors on the back of the cards give hints of what color Mantis Shrimp is on the other side.

WIN

Win by scoring 10 or more cards in your score pile.

    Great for the whole family!

    My family loves to play this! Simple and fun, with enough depth to keep my wife and I entertained. The kids (3, 4, 6) all love playing and play at different strategy levels (with the 3 yo always stealing from her mom :) ).

    Teaches probabilities in a fun way too. Highly recommend!!

    P.S. grandparents and everyone else we've invited to play loved it too!

    Its a great game simple to understand and good fun. My family two ‚children‘ 15, 17 (can i still call them children) and my wife really enjoy this game

    So much fun!

    I gifted Mantis to my Grand Daughter and she was thrilled having played it with her cousins. When I played it with her and her siblings, I found out why she wanted it! It is a cleverly designed game, different from any other I've played - and it's so much fun! The ages I was playing with were a 6 year old, 8 , 11, and 68 year old and we all loved it! Thank you for developing well thought out, fun, and funny games. We own quite a few now!😃

    Whole Family Fun!

    The niece and nephew (both 6y/o), always want to join in the fun! This game was fun for all ages!
