    Great Solo Mystery

    I played this by myself and I felt like I knew the Oatmeal’s humor too well that I solved most of the puzzles without going through the motions of solving them. It was hilarious and entertaining. Also, I’m a huge fan of absurd puzzles and I’m used to playing them on the computer. It was nice to be disconnected to a device for a couple of hours. Thank you for the fun!

    As for replay value, I have a memory of a goldfish so I could see myself playing again in a year. I carefully placed the case files back in the correct order. It would be nice to have them numbered similar to the deck of cards.

    I look forward to the next board game!

    One time use but worth it!!!

    First- this was an absolute blast to play with my wife, parents, and teenager. Definitely not for the younger kids…but the ridiculous humor is part of what makes this so much fine.

    Second- there are some legitimate criticisms of this being able to be played only once….but resealing the envelopes and passing it on to friends for them to enjoy is our plan. Also, it is an absolute blast to play, though only once.

    Overall- Approaching this as a murder mystery to solve with dinner and dessert would make for a ridiculously fantastic evening with friends!!!

    Fun game solo or with friends

    Dead Therapist is a really fun interactive game. It really makes you work to figure out the puzzles! Some puzzles were more challenging but the clues really helped solve them and move forward! Make sure you have a paper and pen/pencil to help. Although once you've played through the whole game you're done, I'd enjoy watching someone new try their hand at figuring out the game!
